What the estimates can and cannot do
Layout Foundry estimates material quantities from the measurements and options you enter. It does not inspect the room, material or cutting setup, and it does not provide installation, fabrication, structural, safety or regulatory advice.
Check the room and product details
Confirm the dimensions at the real site, the product label, pack or roll specifications, batch requirements, fabrication constraints and the allowance you want before ordering or cutting. Real spaces and materials can differ from the rectangles used in a planner.
Sheet layouts are efficient, not proven optimal
The sheet planner uses a deterministic packing method to produce an efficient rectangular layout. It does not prove the smallest possible sheet count, plan a cutting sequence or create computer numerical control instructions.
Keep a copy of any result you need
The tools may change or be unavailable. Print a plan or copy its text summary if you need to keep the result outside the browser.
