Layout Foundry Quantities

For tile, flooring, paving and wallpaper shops. Your customer types the size of the floor, patio or walls and gets the number of whole packs or rolls, from your own pack sizes. Beside the diagram, they can read the allowance for cuts, the rounding up to whole packs and the leftover material. One button adds that number of packs to the basket.

Setting it up

1. Install the app and open it from your Shopify admin.
2. Download the CSV. It lists every product, one row each.
3. Fill in the pack facts for the products that need a planner: coverage per pack, tile or plank size and pieces per pack, paving slab sizes, or wallpaper roll size and pattern repeat.
4. Upload the file. The preview lists every change and names the line and column of any problem.
5. In the theme editor, add the “Pack and roll planner” block to your product template.

Results are estimates for planning a purchase. Your customers should check sizes and quantities with their fitter.

Layout Foundry Gang Sheets

For DTF, UV DTF and sticker printers. Your customers add their designs on your product page, and the builder places them across your film width in an efficient layout, in their own browser. They check a preview and approve it, and the sheet goes into the basket at the right length. The print file arrives on the order with a download link.

• The builder opens from a block on your own product page
• Sells by length, such as per 10 cm, or as fixed sheet sizes
• A print-ready PNG at 300 DPI, or a PDF, on each order
• Warnings for low-resolution and oversized designs before your customer approves
• A print queue with downloads, and a check that the length paid for covers the sheet

Price: free for up to 30 metres (about 100 feet) of sheets a month.

Setting it up

1. Install the app. It opens with settings filled in for 56 cm film; change them to match your printer.
2. Click “Add the block in the theme editor” and save your theme.
3. Create a gang sheet product priced per length, such as per 10 cm.
4. Open the product and click “Build your gang sheet” to try it as a customer.

What the apps store

Quantities stores your product names and the pack facts you enter. It does not read orders or customer details, and room sizes stay in your customer's browser.

Gang Sheets stores each approved print file and its preview with the order number, and deletes them 14 days after upload. It does not receive names, email addresses or postal addresses.
