How to make a gang sheet
A gang sheet is one length of DTF film holding several designs, cut apart after printing. The builder packs your designs into that one length, checks the file for common printing problems, and prices the result at each printer, all in your browser.
1. Add your designs
Add each design as a transparent PNG. The builder reads the printed width and height from the file, and trims any transparent edge to the visible artwork before packing it.
2. Set spacing and rotation
Spacing is the gap kept between designs, so they can be cut apart cleanly. A wider gap uses more film; a narrower gap uses less film but leaves less room to cut. You can also let the builder rotate a design by 90 degrees when that uses less film.
3. Review the packed layout
The builder places every design on the film width you choose and shows the resulting length, the film used and the film left over. A text result sits beside the diagram, listing the same count, rows and film use, so the result does not depend on reading the picture.
The layout is efficient for the placement method used; it is not claimed to be the only or the best possible arrangement.
4. Compare printers and download
Once the layout is packed, the builder prices it at every listed printer for your film width, using each printer's own pricing rule, delivery charge and VAT basis, ranked by total price. Choose a printer and download the file at their film width: a 300 DPI PNG, or a PDF for a longer sheet.
5. Order from the printer
Layout Foundry does not print or sell anything. Take the downloaded file to the printer's own website and place the order there, at the price shown on their page.
